Have you ever been to the DFW Fiber Fest in Corinth? I have online friends who go every year; it sounds rather like a small version of Stitches with classes and a market. It's an annual event, was last weekend. If it was closer I'd be tempted.
I don't drive in Dallas. Way too many super aggressive drivers and I worry my reflexes aren't as good as they once were
