There'll be tears on Sunday when we drive our son to Milan for his Erasmus year. Then again the ~€8K fees will be waived and the EU will bung him another ~€5K towards living expenses and he'll meet a stack of people so.... Madness to leave this programme. Madness. www.theguardian.com/politics/art...
Report that EU proposal on work and study for under-30s could be revisited is denied by government
Insane that young brits will continue to miss out. They need it more than most. Stunted development.
Erasmus literally changed my life. I got a year at a university where there were so many more opportunities for things to get involved with, changed my perspective on so much - compared to my Russell Group home Uni, which was rubbish. #LittleBritain strikes again.
My son spent a year in Madrid with Erasmus - superb experience.
