I also think they’re so aggressively priced they are destroying the opposition. ULA is already on the market, Ariane 6 is expensive and Roscosmos is beyond the pale. All SpaceX has to do is wait out the competition.

Surely you only get the opportunity to do that from an overly dominant market position that needs regulating. That makes it kind of obvious why Musk is choosing a side. But it's a position of weakness to do Trump's bidding.
