How many of the current polls in swing states are outside the margin of error? The best you can say is she is competitive in those states where Biden wasn't. But to say there is even one vote in those areas she could do without is crazy.

The point is, it might make a difference in the margins. Don't know if you've noticed, but the Dems are still (probably) losing this race. The Harris candidacy might have ensured a popular vote victory, but she is still losing in EC. She's needs all the margins in the swing states she can get.
