Dumber still, his "logic" depends on the ability to disagree with "the fact," you know facts, reality. I'm nostalgic for the days when to disagree with reality was to be insane.

Sure there's a Whataburger up there, but that's also where all the traffic is. Cheyenne Mountain, Cheyenne Canyon, Broadmoor: we're down south and really enjoy the proximity to trails and to downtown.

Oh ... and Lawrence Levine has a few great chapters in The Unpredictable Past on 1930s culture. A bit dated but a good place for grad students to start.
