I love that Otakon still has a place for AMVs. It really does help it keep that classic, fan-run feel that so many cons now lack. Also, I love how PACKED the auditorium is for all of the AMV screenings!

I was hanging out with people after Anime NYC two weeks later, and though I wasn't *at* the con half of what people told me was ANYC is so AX-level corporate that it really highlights how "fan" Ota is by comparison
