I honestly get so anxious when I notice that someone is emotionally manipulative because half the time they don’t even realise that they’re that way and how toxic their actions and words really are as they’re currently struggling so much themselves.

And as they’re oblivious to their own emotional manipulation of others because they’re so caught up in their own inner pain, they don’t realise that it’s causing a self fulfilling cycle that makes them feel worse.
