Oh joy. Gmail let's you now respond with emoticons. Wasted 5 minutes wondering why I couldn't see a response email.
While I have seen it from some Americans, this is an odd statement to me. We always had meat, a starch, and veggies for dinner growing up. (Now we often do non-meat dinners.) Maybe it's a geographical thing or too many of us genx kids decided cereal was best at dinner.
