Today I learned there's a Thomas the Tank Engine roleplay community on BlueSky. I learned about it because apparently everybody thinks it's okay to harass them into suicidal ideation and self-harm. Even admissions of therapy only earn more mockery and derision. As a suicide survivor I am disgusted

James the Splendid Red Engine, a SFW cosplayer, responding a an NSFW picture of Thomas the Train Engine posted in his replies with "what the fuck are you mentally ill" and then being bombarded by Faine Greenwood with even more of NSFW (this is blatant sexual harassment). In response, James admits he is dealing with suicidal ideation as a direct result of the sudden sexual harassment.
Shawn Connolly responding incredibly flippantly to the suicide comment, essentially reducing James' admission of suicidal ideation to joke, despite James already admitting he is ACTUALLY pursuing therapy. Another user, Great-Grand-S🥥n 🥥f a Dead Empire (Austria-Hungary) [@thatirontube.bsky.social], has responded to the suicide comment by completely reducing it train suicide joke. "James is sending himself to the scrapyard??"
Two posts from James declaring that they are going to be engaging in self harm, and a general post of nihilistic despair, both posted roughly an hours after the previously detailed harassment.
