Hecken cute and cozy Cleo! ❤️
tbh I eyeballed it on my phone, but I love doing big girl size calculations! The scale is 300px wide for 150 units, so 2px per unit (I went with km, but miles are probably correct) Both mermaids from head to base of tailfin is ~1100px,so they're 550 km/mil long each!
Ahh, hardened gamer instinct to dig through everything! I don't remember when the final stage proper opens vs the tiny fake one, so refreshing my memory on all this is another good excuse to play again! I found the relocalization patch with Arma/Alma too. Now the hard part: Making time to play!
I want to love on continent surrounded by two 500+km long mermaids looking at it playfully! Sure the day/night cycle gets kinda weird with huge bodies blocking the sun rise/set, but they're sexy barely clad mermaids, so I think it works in this continents favor. Just watch out for the giant mouth!
and got that early bad ending when Phalanx's Castle suddenly opened up early. Feels like such a weird decision to do that, I had to check GameFAQs on how to progress. I heard similar stories from other players too, did you have any trouble finding all the bits to progress the plot?
Congrats! It's such a slick game, and being able to hover/fly gives it a unique play style in addition to its amazing aesthetic. When I played this aged ago, I never found the flying demon form (I overlooked that tornado that takes you to that second Arma fight)...
*2 branches is technically 3, but one is basically a rehash of another with a few minor changes iirc Man can't believe all the translation stuff happened almost 20 years ago, I gotta give this game a spin again myself!
It's been a long time since I've looked where the last patch is, Lady Wu's post here might be it: the-scholars.com/viewtopic.ph...mega.nz/file/VPAxQB4... There's a few UI bugs and Window issues on W10, but still plays great. It's one of my favorite games!
It's a simple SRPG: move your units and bop enemy units, and they'll do the same to you. No deep customization, but it's still fun and breezy. Choices you make from dialog prompts can have big impacts on how battles turn out and battlefield situations can suddenly change, both good and bad!
Legend of Cao Cao, aka Sangokushi Sosoden, a PC Koei SRPG game release back in '98 and fan translated. It's a Romance of the Three Kingdom game where you follow Cao Cao's life from his early career to his rise in power, with a new ending with two* branches based on your choices throughout the game.
