Aw, now this is nice. Allentown paper reports that a venerable Legion baseball field w/in walking distance of my old house has finally had its busted lighting system repaired/replaced after several years. Play (night) ball!

Weirdest damn thing about Balliet Stadium: as shown in this 2006 photo, there’s a gravestone in the front corner of the property. I *think* it’s carved with a dedication, not a name and dates, but I can’t remember what it said. Always creeped me out a bit.
