It 's signed' Marvel Comics group, but in 1949 was there a Marvel Comics group or wasn't it Timely or Atlas? I thought it became Marvel in the 60s. Have to admit I've not researched it.

I just read an issue of Uncanny X-Men where you wrote a letter to Byrne and Claremont with great concern as to the direction the comic was taking. It kinda cracked me up. Thanks for all the great comics Kurt.

Thanks for sharing! Any idea who the author is? It sounds like Joe Simon but I think he had parted ways with Marvel by ‘49.
