45s from that era are mono and cut LOUD (as nature intended for rock'n'roll), so they tend to make more of an impact.
I had never considered this but it makes so much sense. Coming out of jukebox or whatever has to punch. You’re gonna miss me 13th fl elevators sounds like a different version on 7” and now understand why.
