Yeah! They rolled it out a week or so ago? It's limited to a minute and a maximum file size of 50MB, but if you upload through the app, it compresses it for you.
Yeah I had no idea it was getting replaced! The Onion one is closer to BibleThump design-wise rather than Generic Purple Block
Yeah that "only posting positivity" approach really skews our perceptions of others and the world in a negative way. You start to think "why is it so hard for me right now?" when in actuality, we all have our own challenges to surmount. It's something we need to be mindful of.
For the record, in case some of you are still lurking in my follows: trans women are women, trans men are men. Cis isn’t a slur. Trans people are cool and have never once made me feel unsafe; terfs + their weird definitions of womanhood make me feel unsafe all the friggin time.
