Idk, maybe it's bc I'm og from fandoms like Harry Potter, where the crackships were Drapple and Chickron, but I just don't get why ppl would think those are crackships? I mean, Cadalis just seems like a stereotypical enemies to lovers ship, and flutterdash is just the childhood friends' trope?

I think it might be bc like, they are "unlikely" to happen canonically but like. So is practically every ship. Like that'd be ridiculous for any other Fandom. Imagine if Drarry or Blairon was labeled a crackship in the Harry Potter Fandom, that'd be dumb.

I'm so confused as to how the mlp Fandom determines what a crackship is. Like I've seen Flutterdash and Cadalis referred to as crackships like??? Wym, those are normal ships?
