Not to "woe is more me" but Mets were always a step back team compared to last year? I just think Twins had the best vibes possible after breaking to curse and owners pulled back $30 mil and squandered all that good will to a franchise that now seems destined for the dumps for next 5 years.

Yeah, this wasn't bad vibes but a lot of unknowns re: Mendoza, the starting rotation, which young player could produce (it was Vientos), and the chemistry question. The Alonso business too just feels very up in the air and I'm bored by the off-season being the most 'exciting' time for the team.
