There are theories that Ranni and Miquella were close. When Ranni gives us the Spirit Calling Bell she recognizes Torrent and the DLC hints that Miquella was Torrent's former owner; it feels like it was all part of a bigger plan for both of them to give us those 2 key items. 2/2
