My rotten tree baby will be a year on September 26 & yes, the damn thing has said average resolution time of 56 days the entire time. Itâs still dropping limbs, but at least it no longer has a cerebellum growing out of it.
I have a Masterâs in Child Development. Toddlers are much more dangerous, & their teeth sharper.
I donât think it is, alas. I never posted because a toddler yelled BOO as I was taking the pictures & my resultant loss of dignity has tainted my memories of the building. Iâll see if I can find it.
Oooh⌠Iâve got a Damen Ave Bein somewhere in my camera roll. I should post it.
I have legit paged through 140+ Mature Camrys, laughing maniacally every time I *donât* see my parentâs car. One of the small pleasures in life.
Iâve been thinking about returning myself, mostly because Iâm weirdly gleeful that @sorenspicknall.bsky.social has not yet discovered my parentâs Mature Camry though it lives within a mile of his house
I donât remember if I turned up anything on the people that lived there, but it was designed in 1947 by architect Harold Edward Anderson, the same guy that did the comparatively new row houses built in north Pullman when additional housing was needed for workers building ships & planes for WWII.
We love to see it! And Iâm especially happy to see North Pullman repped.
I left my fam sitting at Benâs Chili Bowl (originally a Nickelodeon) & embarked on a self created walking tour. There are at least 2 other old theaters, & a ton of early Duke Ellington & other Black history spots all within walking distance of Benâs.
I have heard some heartbreaking stories out of Roseland. People think theyâre getting a lovely home because of the surface shine, but are then unexpectedly thrust into a never-ending cycle of impossibly expensive repairs.
