In all seriousness, I’m thankful to have grown up learning how to build a fire and cook on it, catch and clean a fish, and such. We had a 4-day power outage due to an ice storm and I had to teach my neighbor how to light a fire.

My in-laws got caught off guard by Hurricane Charley down in Port Charlotte, FL. They were w/out power for at least 10 days. We learned lessons from that and a couple of ice storms. Lots easier to keep food fresh when it’s freezing outside.
