Heartstopper makes me very emotional. I don’t think it’s the series per se. It is something that touches deep inside, way back to my teenage years, where that version of me had no idea what was going on, had no references or support, didn’t understand his queerness and was harmed because of it.

It's awesome but still wild to me that gay teens nowadays can just... watch people like themselves... on TV.
