Counterargument: raking leaves is like, actual work
this but unironically. the "leaf" blower is a labor-saving device for people who have to labor all day in the heat, for the elderly or for people with other limitations. "just rake it" is easy to say if the debris is minimal, if you haven't been working six hours already, if you're able-bodied..
