#RedSystem#REBOL#C features and abstraction level, so you still get most of the intimidation. And you constantly have to convert between Red and RedSystem to interface with other systems, including the standard C library.
Meta the language is way too big to fit in a sector, but the executables it generates could run in a sector. The APE executables for PC have a boot loader built in so they can run on bare PC BIOS, but they're larger than a sector.
