Seriously people, every decade, it's time for a TDAP booster. If you're outside around old objects, like barns, hiking, architectural salvage yards, or indoors with old metal...so Alive. If you're alive, you need this. Get jabbed, put the even in your calendar for every 10 years.
I feel like adult me did a great job getting this booster in 2020 so I can now remember to get it every year that ends in 0! Also, showing this skeet to my partner who spends the most time around all those things.
I was given a booster when my daughter was born, and I remembered to get a booster when she turned 10. And I'll remember again when she turns 20,
I’ll have to check with my nephew as to the age of his oldest daughter. First baby, no one’s allowed to come near her unless their TDAP shot is up to date (ai I got one then; this was pre-Covid). Second baby, no precautions needed before seeing her.
Hurts like hell, but worth it. I garden in a community plot and bike so I wasn't getting tetanus
The 30 something guy who helps us do bigger yard projects (and does that for a living) hasn’t had a tetanus booster. He’s not anti-vax or anything, he just didn’t know or think it was important. And I fear I didn’t convince him.
