We have a new paper out using individual-level genetic and phenotypic data to test hypotheses about species ranges in Arabidopsis onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10....

among other things, we find that areas of higher estimated climatic suitability harbor larger Arabidopsis plants (in herbarium specimens) and later-flowering genotypes. In low suitability regions across the range, plants tend to be small and genotypes tend to be early flowering.
