The weirdest is when you find out a friend, someone whose way of being in the world you have appreciated, doesn’t have an inner monologue and it’s just like…who even are you?

My sister!!! I have spent fully years of my life trying to figure out what she was thinking and the whole time I didn’t realize that I had no conception of what her thinking sounds like (or doesn’t). It’s very strange to sit with now.
