Yes :) :) :) I mean, I've got the glasses but I might just be like a normal animal and just ... experience it :)
This is good advice for many things. Be in the moment, not behind a camera!
I traveled for the 2017 eclipse and this is correct (for anyone who isn’t a professional or serious hobby photographer.) When it hit totality I reached for my camera took one picture and then decided that the most meaningful way to experience it was to be 100% PRESENT, not futzing with tech.
I'm planning on doing both. Tripods are great tools!
