it's funny to me that one of the most viable multiclasses in dnd 5th edition is bard/warlock, a mediocre musician who sells his soul to an unknowable, all-consuming demon in exchange for fame and fortune. just like real life!

Robert Johnson build (after music leveled up maximally)

it’s such a fun multi class! being able to be a support for your team while also able to eldritch blast in a pinch? [chef kiss]

… STOP LOOKING AT MY CHARACTER SHEETS (That’s a lie, I’m kinda in my “play a hoebag cleric who has multiple ways to get the party a free night at the inn” era. But I was maybe gonna do that next campaign)

I'm pretty sure your patron is just the label you're signed to at that point. Your contract clearly sucks too if you're still running around selling monster parts and raiding tombs for cash, and payment in cantrips and exposure can't feed you

i guess it could also be a mediocre musician who sells his soul to cthulhu and makes music completely incomprehensible to mortals

it's pretty funny that wotc made all the best classes hinge on charisma while frontloading all the benefits. larian are cowards not to let us dip hexblade.

don't mind me, just plotting out the baldur's gate 3 build for what i'm calling my "let women be evil" playthrough
