Adding that there are people who are medically unable to mask, and *the more people who CAN mask around them the safer everyone is* I mask as much as I can in public but sometimes have to unmask bc of heat intolerance so I don’t faint. If no one else is masked, the risk to me is much higher

So my risk calculus whenever I leave the house (for lack of a better term, “risk” is not actually individual) is “how much can I physically mask AND will anyone else be masking around me” and more often than not in the past few years, the answer to the latter is “no one/very few people”
