As someone who has struggled immensely with body dysmorphia for most of her life, I did not think I would be comfortable in my body as it changed during pregnancy & postpartum. something I REALLY did not expect to happen was for me to be loving to my body during those changes.
We were still displaced for my birthday due to Helene, but we made it to a bookstore. Then, “What Looks Like Bravery” jumped out to me bc of the book I am writing about #movingbravely 💖 And, because we spent $25, I got to pick out a free book!! My husband found “Girly Drinks” & I am LOVING it.🍹
I gotta be honest. 268 days of pregnancy 435 days postpartum That’s at least 700 days. I haven’t felt like myself for at least 700 days. Between pregnancy and postpartum, so far, I have walked through a portal.
