There’s too much going on here!
I was a criminal justice intern at Cato Institute 11 yrs ago & spent a lot of time looking into heroin OD deaths. I remember talking to my boss about how this was becoming a more widespread issue impacting new populations. Can't say things have gotten better 11 yrs later!

I laugh at myself when I think, “why are these people making noise after 10pm?” one night & am impressed by a building-shaking noise presumably set off by a single person, which may or may not have required FDNY assistance another night. I love this city.
I thought parents “let” their kids be messy eaters and that I would not🙃
Our smoke is NY tough!
Not trying to minimize efforts of local reporters out there (Phil Williams & TN Holler had incredible, earth shattering reporting this yr), it’s just sad to see key reporters have jobs cut or move onto national outlets. I notice lawmakers are less worried about accountability. We’re worse for it.
There used to be 1-2 reporters in TN focused on criminal justice/policing issues. This year: zero. The Speaker had an insane “three strikes & mandatory life in prison” bill AND one that allowed children to be thrown in adult prisons for basically any crime and there were literally 0 articles.
We CANNOT bring Adam’s twitter behavior here! I’m banning this speech!
