Los Angeles has been the setting for many classic science fiction tales. We're curious to know what's your favourite book about a future City of Angels? What makes it resonate with you?

A short story rather than a book: Heinlein's "And He Built a Crooked House." It couldn't have been set anywhere except southern California.

I liked KSR's Three Californias trilogy, though it's been a while since I read them and I couldn't be sure which are set in LA rather than just the outskirts thereof.
