Famously, Captain Kirk fought the Gorn at Vasquez Rocks in the original series episode Arena. The location was also used as Vulcan in Star Trek IV, and as Westworld in the recent TV show. #SciFiLA

If you like B-movies, Bronson Canyon was a favourite filming spot for alien landscapes in the 1950s and 1960s. It was a major location for the movies: Robot Monster They Saved Hitler’s Brain The Phantom Empire Eegah! The Brain from Planet Arous *AND* The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra #SciFiLA

It's been used a whole bunch more times in other Star Trek shows too, including in animated form in Lower Deck and... actually as Vasquez Rocks in Star Trek: Picard
