Rebirth fixes that to a point actually. Remake is real uncanny valley territory where the character's faces and mouths dont seem to match up with each other or the body language so it comes off as unsettling.

Ive definitely felt this back in January. Burnout was finally gone, then as soon as the New Year hit I got hit with COVID, and then I was out of commission for weeks.

I wouldn't be surprised in 5 years or so, they'll realize their golden goose is just a duck in gold paint, and then end up trying to rehire people but for less pay than they laid them off for.
Also, even if it isnt as good as real artists, I don't expect short-sighted execs and management to understand that. The goal for them is to cut costs whatever it takes, the quality of the product doesnt matter as long as they dont have to pay you.
