The Malagasy Christian refugees who lived in Walthamstow with members of Marsh St Congregational Church, 1839-41. Sarah Razafy (2nd left) died in Dec 1840 & was buried at Marsh St burial ground, but reinterred at Chingford Mount Cemetery 1980. Marsh St is shown on Coe’s map 1822. #BlackHistoryMonth
