Life is short & happiness is fleeting. Sometimes you have to impulse purchase the giant monkey lamp you happen to see at TJMaxx when you’re there to buy a new dog bed.
I’ve done it. I’ve achieved the dream. I’m momentarily caught up on grading.
In looking ahead at some logistics, I just discovered that when making the syllabus for my seminar class this semester I inadvertently skipped the dates for an entire week & now have nothing planned for it. 😱😂😬

Once again thinking about this dog from 1908, who kept pushing children into the river so he could get steaks for rescuing them.
What we should do is lean hard in the opposite direction on a congressional dress code. So many of those clowns only get taken seriously in the first place because they’re wearing the costume. Put them all in sweatpants, t-shirts, & Crocs and you’ll see who the real leaders are.
