For sci-fi I can recommend Ninefox Gambit, incredible ideas without any Mister Exposition, I'm looking forward to going back and rereading early books which I already enjoyed now that I fully know what was going on! Also This Is How You Lose The Time War if you haven't already, beautiful stuff.
