Tenner is the normal, you can pay 40 euro for 2 drinks in temple bar and eating out is a disaster. Dublin centre is on its arse with restaurants closing down and it’s only tourists keeping it going. There’s a drive to get people in but it’s just too expensive and a little violent these days

I don’t go in much these days as I live in the sticks but I don’t find the restaurant prices too dear versus the quality but that depends on where you go. I can’t drink as I have to drive home! If I do drink then it gets expensive. Hotel rooms are expensive!!
