Second protest of the week. Rally for Palestine out Pāpāmoa way this morning.

I for one pākehā would welcome Māori leadership of this country. Can't come soon enough. The Tiriti march in Tauranga Moana the other day showcased how well organized, intentional, respectful, peaceful, inclusive, considered, collaborative, cooperative this leadership would be. Bring it on.

Staff of The Good Local in Pyes PA which is temporarily closed because of fire damage are doing community service in the meantime. Yesterday they swept the yard of my colleague who has had cancer & whose husband died suddenly earlier this year. They are definitely good locals!!
