If you've travelled to Vietnam any time in the last few years it's not uncommon to find magnets and shirts and the like with the dish and Obama on it thanks to some extra hype it got after he had it on his visit.

Amusing to me because on average I feel like the kiwis I've known look younger/healthier than a typical American at the same age. So well done!
Among US airlines the only brand-within-a-brand times I can recall (not incl. the run-up to a full merger) are Song and Ted. And both of those I think were a very different proposition. I wonder if product differentiation will last a long time, or if it'll just come down to different paint one day.

Yeah, which is kind of unfortunate. With the bird-site alternatives there seems to be an inverse relationship between usability and engagement. Threads is by far the most polished, but it just feels like void-yelling over there. Mastodon seems engaging but clunky in practice.
There's a lot I like about Bluesky, but that 90's shareware looking splash screen isn't one.
Live tracking is the worst thing to happen to us as a society. Not only does it make us impatient, but seeing my food delivery driver miss his exit and get lost four times (and counting) is an experience on par with watching the Mets.
