It’s interesting how third party options seem to grow more viable the further from POTUS we get. Local elections seem to attract more diversity in candidates. Presidential campaigns are muted echoes where a left leaning moderate like VP Harris is presented like the “Left’s best chance.”

If you don't like the laws you could run for office and change them. If a prosecutor is following the law, it's kinda what they're supposed to do. Do something about it. A third party vote is yours to cast, but I'm not sure it's the change agent you think it is.

Choosing to do nothing is a choice. And as was once said, “he chose poorly.”

I have smart and articulate young friends in the far left camp and I learned from them to understand your pov. However, opting out of elections, is unfortunately just a feelgood gesture in US system. Otoh community organizing can actually be effective in pushing forward reforms.
