One of the reasons I love working at Paizo is because I know I'll encounter queerness in the work regularly. It's often just little moments dropped in with references to NPCs, but sometimes it's big and thematic (like in Knights of Lastwall). It's so comforting to me to be surrounded by queer works.

When I was a freelance editor for an agency, I had no choice over what I edited. Some of it I actively hated. I once proofread this extremely homophobic psychology book and there was literally nothing I could do about it. I am extremely grateful to no longer be in that position.
