To me, the biggest proof that Republicans are not the champions of small business they claim to be is that single-payer health care would be a massive aid for small business, because large companies couldn’t use benefits as a recruiting tool, but they don’t actually care so they don’t make it happen
Yes! This! I was a small business co-owner who lost a great employee (pre-ACA) because we couldn't afford to offer health insurance and the county government did.
I am a big supporter of publicly funded health care, and just wish the others who feel the same weren’t all Jill-Stein-promoting watermelon-in-the-username people.
Not to mention that unthethering health insurance from employment would allow there to be MORE small businesses because people could take the risk to start that business.
