and the best part is that rust is basically just c++ except with everything being const by default, and you have to make it mutable by choice, and without the bloat.
Ok so here's some stuff about rust: #[derive(something)] is a custom macro that can reinterpret code. "generics" are Templates that you can do crazy stuff with thanks to "traits" Interfaces. what shocks me the most is that, you could do this in c++ too, BUT NO ONE DOES IT.
rust and bevy is so hard... I KEEP GETTING DIZZY, just thinking about how the type system works. Like you're telling me I can just pass a function as a system, with ANY kind of parameter, and bevy just puts in the correct thing... LIKE HOW??? anyway actually using the ECS is enjoyable
