I had a weird dream last night where I went back to a previous employer and rewrote the giant monolith that has been refusing to be taken down for the lastā¦ 20 years. I rewrote it in a week by brilliant application of chopping off bits-patterns and languages I donāt even know. God I was good.
Wrapping up the series of blog posts about ethics and law in software development just as I wrap up the work week. Have a great weekend out there people and let's make some good choices with that we choose to build next week, ok? https://testing.pejgan.se/the-jurassic-park-problem-part-3/
The Jurassic Park Problem & Software DevelopmentĀ (Part 3) How you can (should?) use them to guide your workSuggestion #1: Become legally literateSuggestion #2: Strive for Exploitation ConsciousnessSuggestion #3: Maintain Societal AwarenessSuggestion #4: Stay Professionally EthicalFinal wrap up
Last week we published part of of our article about ethics and law in software development. Part two dives into a handful of scenarios and how these forces don't always... align. Enjoy and have a better weekend than me and my cold! https://testing.pejgan.se/the-jurassic-park-problem-part-2/

I started talking about ethics a few years back. This year I got to do a keynote about ethics and law with my partner Mathias Jansson at Romania Testing Conference! We finally managed to write the content up into written form https://testing.pejgan.se/the-jurassic-park-problem-part-1/
The Jurassic Park Problem & Software DevelopmentĀ (Part 1) Can we, are we legally allowed to andā¦ should we?
I had the pleasure of collaborating with Qase on an article about heuristics! qase.io/blog/heurist...
Learn what heuristics aim to do and explore how to use them more intentionally in software testing.
A few days ago I published part one of my 2-part article about management interviews. Now we dig into assessment questionnaires! I kind of love these just as much as I dread them, read on to see why š š https://testing.pejgan.se/the-managers-interview-what-does-that-look-like-part-2/
The Managerās interview ā What does that look like? (Part 2)
Iāve been going through old blog posts since I saw the formatting got messed up somewhere in some update of wordpress. Cleaned out some old posts while at it. Next step is to start promoting old postsā¦ THAT feels scary. Why does that feel so uncomfortable?
I finally got one of the posts published (yay me!). Iām digging into what interviewing as a manager can look like. What are our equivanlents to leet code-tests and similar? testing.pejgan.se/the-managers...
If you want me to go further down this rabbit hole you could send me a topic suggestion or two. I seem to be in a writing mood. (But please please I will need someone to review and tell me to push publish soon)
