I can't believe we're doing a third straight election with Donald Trump. At this point it just feels like half the country is terrorizing the other half out of spite.

The problem is, the general population won't be as desperate that way ... and it's hard to exploit a population that isn't desperate. Hell, they might even start getting involved in government if they aren't trying to stay financially alive 24/7.
