📽️Today I'm watching Days of Heaven on #criterionchannel, in the New Hollywood collection. Probably my person favorite Malick. It's gorgeous and sweet and sad and simmering.

Richard Gere as a secretly emotionally volatile man who is capable of great, careless violence is done so well here. There's something so blank about Richard Gere, he kinda makes me think of Keanu Reeves in that he can seem like he's not all there, but then he snaps into focus. Interesting actor.
