Iirc, they weren't great at the time. I used them in college for a couple years before CDRW existed and I think one of my disks got corrupted somehow, losing a week of work

My dad used this to backup his work info. I think he had it well into the 20teens but I don't know if he ever was referring to the old backups.

Yeah, they were terrible! We had them in our campus computer lab and it was only a matter of time before any disk put into them got completely fucked
