The fact that a sitting Supreme Court Justice referred to the Doctrine of Discovery in a ruling against indigenous people is beyond redemption, if you ask me.

Missed this comment before, but Doctrine of Discovery is the bedrock of Indian Law, everything there is in the field is rooted in McIntosh v Georgia and Chief Justice Marshall's batshit views on aboriginal title, which he also invented!
