"Those with the broadest shoulders should bear the greatest burden". Listen dude, there are literally a couple of hundred people in the UK who could shoulder the entire burden between them and still have hundreds of millions in change.
How on earth could it be any different given the train-wreck of an economy that the Tories left us with? Let's not forget they weren't even governing for two years, they were so busy with infighting and factionalism. I trust Starmer more to deliver the grown-up economic solutions this country needs.

He was well aware of the black hole via the IFS & it was raised constantly by Stephen Flynn from the SNP via debates pre election and they shook their head, add to that the 40billion lost in tax receipts via Brexit, they knew full well, shame on them..
Why isn’t he asking the big energy companies, big businesses, the obscene wealthy..no he attacks the most vulnerable & the least able..a sham of a party.
I see that all the economic problems of the 1970's have returned to UK after Brexit. Can't they just send the bill to the Brexit leaders and be done with this.
