Yep, I once witnessed a bot at work on Twitter. I caught an accounts attention early on. And then I watched well more fake accounts were made and they started following that account. It was quick and bloody insane to watch. It’s the land of the fake not the free.

Twitter used to have regular bot purges. Many of these bots were probably created by Musk as a further source of income for the platform to counter the recent losses.
